ABOUT COUNTRY MOON

We teach line dancing and clogging in the Wide Bay area of Queensland, Australia. We have classes in Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Torbanlea.

Our group prides itself on having fun and enjoying our dancing. We are not in the race to teach the latest and greatest in the fastest time. Instead we pick dances that suit our classes and run on the theory that repetition equals memory. We can't be too short of the mark though because wherever we go in Australia or N.Z. we seem to know most of the dances.

Our clogging class is only small, but what we lack in numbers we make up for in enthusiasm and  we have a lot of fun every Friday morning. .  YeeHaaa!

ABOUT ANNIE AND JAN

Annie is our main instructor in linedance and Jan is our associate teacher. Annie has been teaching for 15 years now and originally hailed from Melbourne where she formed the group Whitehorse Bootscooters, This group is now led by Mr Stephen Paterson who came over from N.Z. to take over the class when Annie shifted to Hervey Bay. Annie is much loved and respected by her students and has a well deserved reputation for being a patient and kind instructor.

Jan is a well known choreographer and instructor of international repute who has won many awards over the past 16 years.  Although she has retired from teaching classes she is still available to help out when required. 

The clogging class was instigated by Jan but these days she leaves it to Annie and concentrates on choreographing dances and doing her workshops around Oz and N.Z.
