Annie and Jan have been teaching line dancing for over 15 years now.  Makes you feel old just thinking about it!!!

The little fella on the right who is telling the story looks as if he has got a big pain in the belly.... (-:

 Annie originally came from Melbourne where she formed the club Whitehorse Bootscooters.

Jan originally came from Toowoomba where she was an instructor for Janneke's School Of Linedance.

After shifting to Hervey Bay in 2001 they started teaching line dancing under the name of Country Moon Bootscooters.

Jan has retired from teaching, prefering to concentrate on her choreography and workshops.  She helps out when necessary and the dancers at Annie's classes often get to 'try out' her new dances before they become the done thing.  They like that!

Annie's classes are legendary!  Fun is the order of the day and although her dancers are taught to line dance correctly they don't take themselves too seriously. 

This means that everyone stays on a level footing and most dancers are happy to get up and help out with the beginners. It's a happy class where people keep line dancing in perspective and enjoy each other's company.

In 2005 Jan and Annie started the clogging group known as Country Moon Cloggers.  See photo of original group in the photo section.

It's proving to be quite popular and we expect the numbers to increase as time goes on.  In the meantime we are a small group of around 15 who are really keen cloggers!

Whether you line dance or clog... or both, you are definitely on the right path for good health and fitness.  Keep up the good work!
